Great hardware store – staff are friendly, easy to find and more knowledgeable than at their more famous competitor. Don't tell anyone but they have excellent barista made coffee at the North Melbourne branch too 🤫 …

I was seriously stressing trying to find a replacement timber floorboard. I’d tried a few places and no one could help me — everyone just kept saying it couldn’t be matched. Then I walked into Bowens and Danny took care of everything. He helped me find the right timber and even pointed me in the right direction to have it made to fit perfectly. Couldn’t be more grateful. Was able to source Cutek Extreme CD50 decking oil and tint from Bowens, North Melb. Foubd their prices to be competitive with other outlets. Staff were friendly and courteous.

I had a really helpful visit to Bowen's thanks to Daniel. I was instantly greeted when I entered and I wanted to get some heavy duty brackets or clamps to help secure an object. Daniel listened and gave advice, suggested a suitable product and found the correct screws for me. The customer service was really excellent and I appreciated the help I got in store, it saved me time and money. The store also seemed clean and tidy and enough space to move around etc. Thanks Daniel!
